I am extremely happy to inform that Department
of Statistics, University of Madras is first department to conduct entrance examination
through online mode. Lapilluz Software Solution (Pvt). Chennai is fully responsible
in implementing the online mode entrance examination and releasing the results immediately
on completion of the same. Based on my observation, students were quite comfortable
and happy with the conduct of the real time examination as it was a totally smooth
affair.
The software was menu driven helping both the faculty and administrator in the conduct
of examination. The inbuilt analytic features are extremely useful, simple and flexible
for the user. The output is quite extensive covering all aspects and details of
the applicants. The questions are chaos as there is a paper backup mechanism.
In my considered opinion, I have no hesitation to recommend the Institution in using
the online mode software for the conduct of entrance examinations as it is more
versatile and user friendly. I strongly commend the software group at lapillus Software
Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. For developing such an useful education tool for conducting
entrance examinations.
